Four Seasons Troon North, Scottsdale – Hotel Review

Four Seasons Troon North, Scottsdale – Hotel Review

The Four Seasons Troon North delivers amazing weather, sexy room categories, and incredible restaurants and bars. Whenever we are looking for a three night getaway, we always check availability at this hotel. During the summer months prices plummet as temperatures hit the high 90’s. But with amazing pool options to help you cool off, we consider these prices to be incredible deals.

Troon North is located 20 minutes outside of Scottsdale Arizona. The hotel is a 40 minute drive from Phoenix Airport and is the perfect getaway sanctuary for a couple looking to reconnect. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have come to know the room categories very well. Let us first say that any room in this hotel will be great since it gets you access ot the pool, restaurants, and amazing service from the staff at Troon North. But if you are looking to take things to the next level, we strongly recommend the Kiva King Suite. This room type features a seperate Master and living room, two bathrooms, outdoor shower, and private back patio with an outdoor TV, fireplace, and separate hot tub. It’s just all around begging for tons of relaxation, late night bottles of champagne, and hot tub skinny dipping. Here are a couple of pictures of this room type from the last time we stayed at the resort.

Along with the room category, it is also important to select the right location for your room on the hotel property. We like to be on the side of the resort that is closest to the mail pool and the restaurants. Below is a property map with room numbers. Give the folks at the front desk a call after booking and work with them to make sure you get a location that works for you on the resort. They won’t be able to guarantee a particular location, but they usually do everything they can to make it happen for you.

There are a number of other activities that we have enjoyed over the years at this hotel. Some of our favorites include the cocktail making classes at the pool bar, live music Friday and Saturday nights at the lobby bar overlooking the lights of Scottsdale, and the hike up to Pinnacle Peak for those that want to be a bit more active. This hotel is the perfect getaway to keep us both relaxed and connected for a 72 hour stay. So give it a shot and let us know what you think!
